I love Sea Tangles, but hubby says “meh” to that one. Instead, I found my latest Knitscene turned to a page showing the Ahlstrom Bodice by Lou Schiela.

Would you believe it? Hubby told me “I like that. You have to knit that.” I *have* to. Yarn [window] shopping time!

I don’t know if I will like the required yarn because it’s 70% wool or something. Lou Schiela, the creator of this design, was kind enough to look at other substitutes for me (she cautioned that it will hang differently if I try something with no wool). Most likely, I’ll run over to the big local yarn store and see if they have Elsbeth Lavold Silky Wool and see if it”s ok. I have their Baby Al and that is fine to wear with something under it. I might also see if Hempathy will work since it’s the same gauge.
