Thankful Thursday

Ok, I am going to do my best to make a weekly habit of this.
I have a house. I know I complain about having to clean it, but, thank You Lord, I have a house.
I have a steam cleaner that is supposed to help me stay away from using nasty cleaners. “Supposed to” but the stubborn uber-thrifty person in me says I will not get rid of the icky cleaners until they’re used up. Ugh…my lungs hurt.
I am almost done with SIL’s lace top. I have to do the finishing for the top portion, seam the sides, weave the ends, knit the straps then press it.
This is Labor Day weekend. Woohoo! Hubby is going to build his PC and I hope to get out of the house while the boys play with watch their dad build it. Maybe I’ll go thrift shop shopping or hit garage sales! I miss doing that.
We had an awesome service last night. I’m reminded of what a great church we have. Great teaching, great fellowship. And I got to hold a three-week old baby for a whole 15 minutes!

I’ll add to it. I can walk, talk and breath…when I’m surrounded daily by those who can’t.
I have contentment!
I have joy!
I have peace!

Sounds like a great list. This is something I need to do, too. I am always complaining nowadays and I sound just like the little monster. LOL
