Thankful Thursday

I get to live where I am able to vote. Imagine living somewhere that changes leaders by who shows he’s a bigger bully?

I get to live where I can speak freely.

Hold on…it doesn’t matter where I live, I can speak freely because Christ has given me liberty.

I live in a time when I can say something to someone thousands of miles away and they hear it instantly. I get to chat online with people I have missed because I haven’t seen them in a long time.

I live in a state where I can freely homeschool my kids. We can learn about how hard it was to live in Boston during the revolutionary times when to speak freely was considered treasonous.

What are you thankful for?

I am thankful that we can openly read God’s word and worship Him in public. I am thankful that I have a husband who is loving me like Christ loves the church. I am thankful that I have food on the table and a warm place to sleep (or a cool place considering I am in Texas). I am especially thankful for our church and the new friends that I have met in the short time we have lived here.

I’m thankful for the ability to walk, talk and breath.
I’m thankful for God’s provision for my family.
I’m thankful for the word LOVE spelled out in Legos at my seat at the table!
