Mojo or no mojo, I am making myself finish this off in the next couple of days.

It’s being modeled by my pillow which is surrounded by clean laundry, ready to sort. Apologies for that, but I was quite excited to see this so close to finished. And, yes, Anna, this has shaping for the hips so it’s not boxy.

It really is amazing to see how much of a difference blocking makes! After a judicious amount of steam and a wee bit of coaxing, the lace really opened up and the pattern really shows. I should have taken a better before and after shot, but there you go.

On to finishing the top and the straps!

I forced it back :D I guess that works!

I got so scared yesterday because I saw a pile of yarn torn up that matches this. It turns out it was my test swatch and the dog got a hold of it. My stomach sank to the floor when I saw it and I was soooooooo happy it wasn’t the tunic!
