I don’t know if she remembers, but when they visited for Thanksgiving, I was browsing Ravelry and she saw this pattern. “Oh, you can make me that!” she said and I said nothing. I didn’t mark the pattern, thinking I could easy find it again later.

*Duh*

It took me a while to find it again, but I did. A quick knit and very gratifying when it’s done. I wanted to do it in Malabrigo, but the LYS had none in red save for a lace-weight version and that wouldn’t work at all. I subbed Brown Sheep Worsted in cranberry swirl instead. I like it and she does, too!

I liked it so much that I made one for my MIL, also, but in Patons SWS in color Natural Natural. We also gave her a brooch to match which she loves, too. I hope she sends me a photo so I can keep records of the stuff I made!
