Star-Crossed Beret

Err…I forgot to include washing instructions for this. YT, hand wash it if you need to and when it’s drying, put it around a plate so it can keep its shape, ok?

The pattern is a freebie, same name as the post title, written by someone kind enough to share it on Ravelry.com (I can email it to you if you happen to be curious, dear Reader).

This was knit in KnitPicks Decadence, a 100% alpaca yarn that they no longer make or carry. So sad! This stuff is so smooshy and not itchy like wool. Not to mention it’s crazy warm! I think I have enough to make another beret, but it’s a different color, oh well.

Note: Not long after I boxed this up, we went shopping and I found at almost identical beret in the window of Urban Outfitters but in different colors. Wow, that pattern designer is good.
