Retreat Highlights

Just a few:

~ Personal, positional and purposeful holiness

~ Seeing Daniel, Azariah, Mishael and Hananiah in terms of their holiness, being set apart

~ Feeling blessed and spoiled because of all the gifts we received

~ Ping pong!

~ Getting to hear the story of E&L’s “how we met” and “first date” stories at the campfire until really late (fun and funny…kinda feeling privileged to have heard it)

~ S’mores (thought everyone knew why they were called that)

~ Oreo balls, oreo balls, oreo balls, sugar, chocolate, sugar, chocolate

~ Sisters in Christ and spending time with them

~ Ping pong!

~ napping

~ laughing so hard my face and sides hurt

~ finding out that SH won the table runner that I knit. I was so blessed to have the pleasure of making that (silly me didn’t take the time to take a photo) and I’m so glad she got it

~ Getting to see the Lord work in a really big way during our afterglow and time to share on Saturday

~ Being blessed through leading devotions: I learned the Lord is equipping me and blessing me with new Gifts plus it was His purpose to give me the right group of ladies

~ Ping pong! Rawr!

Lows:

~ Headache (but even that God took care of)

~ Missing others who couldn’t make it

    Hi,
    I just saw your tivoli Tee on ravelry. I made one, some time ago and now want to make another with sleeves. My question is – did you cast on the number of stitches required at the underarm and then just knit down for the sleeves. The recommended number to cast on seems high for sleeves. Thanks for your help.
