Poor little Sprocket jumped on the folding chair NM was sitting on.

Shouldn’t have done that!

When she got down, one of her front nails got caught in the hinge of the seat and was torn!

I heard her yelp then try to lay at my feet then tried to find a dark place to hide. It took me a bit to find out what was wrong.

J and I took her to the vet and they clipped of the whole nail after anesthetizing her. They gave her antibiotics in a shot then after bandaging her up, gave her another shot to counter the meds that put her under. She’s still very subdued as you can see.

Not a happy camper at all! So sad.

    Yeah, me too! I don’t like her limping around (but in the mean time, she’s not nipping at everyone so there’s a silver lining).
