Loose Tooth

It’s happened and the proof—in pictures—is here!

J has his first loose tooth. Wow, that came earlier than I thought. After all, he only turned five in January.

It wasn’t quite the same as with NM. I think NM wasn’t excited but J was really upset. He said his tooth hurt as he bit into a slice of pizza. I glanced at his mouth and it looked like crust was stuck in his teeth. I sent him to fetch a toothpick/flosser thingie. When he got back we looked again and I told him his tooth was loose. I then went on to explain he was going to lose it and then, well, he kinda lost it. He tried to bite a piece of pizza but then it hurt so he just wailed.

Things are better now.

His Abba made a joke about toes and aren’t you glad your toes aren’t falling off and you have to grow new adult toes. Then his brother joked about losing baby hair and growing adult hair. Then he had a lollipop.

And all was well, and full of giggles.

LOL @ the baby toes thing!

Poor baby. Can’t blame him. A loose tooth is extremely uncomfortable and it doesn’t come off for what seems to be forever…

LOL. Loosing teeth can be so scary when you’re 5!:)

I remember losing my two top front teeth and my two bottom front teeth within weeks of each other and being horrified since I knew the kids were going to call me Vampire. Not entirely certain why that was a big deal but it was to me then, lol.

Or the time my dad offered me $10 if I let him pull a tooth and I still wouldn’t let him do it. And the thing was just DANGLING. It was so gross, no wonder he was trying to get it out!

Yup, loosing teeth can definitely be scary haha.
