It’s hard to be truly submitted to the Lord, isn’t it? Can I really say that I want trials and tribulations that I may develop patience, character and hope? But that’s what the Christian walk is like. It’s not all roses and sunshine and rainbows. We also need to see the Lord in our hard times and make it a habit to do so. He receives the glory when we come through better for the experience.

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;
and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Rom 5:3-4
