We headed up to Mayfield Park where we’d hoped to spend the morning this past Saturday. Unfortunately, they didn’t allow dogs so we headed with Sprocket up to Mt. Bonnell instead.

We left the puppy at home today and walked around the park, the home and grounds playing with the camera. But if you ask the boys, their favorite part was on the trail, climbing up the hill and sliding down. It was only somewhat dangerous.

Courtesy of the peacocks, J and I came home with lots of lovely feathers that are on the grounds for the taking (so said the groundskeeper). We also got to see a female white peacock and lots of chicks. “Awww, they’re soooo cute!” said J. Of course.

Know that horrible feeling too. My laptop has froze and had many problems so many times I lost count. I have my second Dell laptop now. I’ve also had a Toshiba, Gateway, and Sony which all crashed as well at some point. Thank goodness we always purchase the ‘accidental damage warrany’ so we don’t have to pay when we take it in, unless they call one of the laptops a ‘lemon’ and tell us to pick out a brand new laptop at no charge to us (based on the price and wear of our damaged notebook). It’s not a small fee for this warrany at Best Buy, in the $400/range, but well worth it because I can’t imagine buying a brand new laptop each time. Next time if we encounter problems my hubby and I both decided on getting a flat screen desk top. Best Buy told us that Laptops and Notebooks are brought in the most often with problems, probably because they are moved around so much; not sure.

I’m with blogger just because that’s who I started off with almost 3 years ago but it was easy to get my own custom domain name and make it my own website for just $10/year through Blogger. I have been tempted to go with WordPress because they have a lot more features built into thier blogsites, but I’m content thus far.

Well now I’m off to read your reasoning tab about why you chose the name ‘In that number’….very curious!

Hi Sarah! Thanks for stopping by :)

Hubby’s work pays for and sets up his laptop so he doesn’t really have a choice as far as that goes. The last one was really good and lasted a good while; it never really died, it just got too slow for their software. I think they die more quickly because the miniaturization causes a lot more heat in there. The desk tops just have more room for circulation or extra fans if you wanted.

I use Godaddy.com and it’s the same price for domain and hosting (I think).
