Soccer! Soccer!

Last Saturday, NM’s team had two games. At least they were scheduled with several hours in between to make it a little easier on us. :)

The first game was great, though, because it was located at a different park than the one where they usually play. So to him, this was an “away” game. True, since they played a team that was from a different league. To mom, abba and J, however, it meant shade, shade and playground. FUN.

And guess who scored a goal that day? OH YEAH.

EDIT: They did win both games. During the second, the opposing team was able to at least score a goal. So far, the M.O. of the team is to score right off, score some more, then coach has them pass the ball several times before they get to even try. So far, most of the teams have been a cake walk to play against but one of the parents told me this is the first year that their team has mostly older boys hence the handicap that coach gives them. It’ll be fun to watch them play against a team that’s closer in age and size.
