Friday Hike

It was fun! We didn’t have a formal hike set up by the Nature Explorer group this time. But that’s ok because it allowed us to stay close to home and bring a special guest with us.

She was beside herself with excitement, really. She was crying before she even got out the door.

and running and, well, mostly running…

But NM actually wanted me to take photos of him and I was most happy to!

Then I tried to take a close up and noticed he had a lock of hair standing up. I mentioned it, and it made him quite excited.

NM even found a deer bone that they decided to take home and trade at the Nature Center. They’re smart enough not to try and touch it.

Why did they run up the hill to the busy street? Because it would make mom’s insides into pretzels? No, because it was there!
