We have been so excited over this! J has been asking for so long when he would get to wear his costume. NM was looking forward to time to play with his friends. And it finally came!

Hubby helped with all of the set up and we even got to buy a tow ball thingie for the truck. Whoa, tow ball thingie! Clearly one of those $5 words. J and I helped load while NM and some other older kids played soccer in the back lot of the church. That was a nice start to the day for him.

After loading up we all headed to the park and unloaded then set up. Our truck on gravel? Fail. We need new tires badly but we won’t get them until next week.

But there was loads and loads of fun. J spent the vast majority of the night in the bounce house, stopping only for the cake walk, dinner and the pinata. NM spent it playing the carnival games, volleyball and pinata. The boys were so tired! We ended up going to second service the following day.

There are many more photos here.

PS: I’m proud of both boys who politely refused any candy offered to them knowing they had other stuff waiting for them. They are so good to be vigilant about what they eat!
