~ Hearing from a long-time friend who experienced a very special touch of God, delivered through happy tears

~ Enjoying time with family surrounded by God’s creation, molded creatively by man (Zilker Botanical Garden)

~ Happy surprise of finding out it’s free to visit

~ Adventure of finding three out of four letterboxes we set out to find

~ Wonderful weather, don’t-stay-indoors kind of lovely

~ Giggles, loud ones and ones muffled by distance but still hard to mistake

~ Creative dialogue between boys playing “secret agent” with very conspicuous nerf guns

~ Walking into the house and being assaulted—in a lovely way—by the smell of simmering spaghetti sauce

~ Time spent with friends over a good meal, entertainment and good bread included

~ Laughing over Madagascar 2: “Girl, you HUGE!” “Curse you, Darwin!”

…and for all the other blessings I failed to note today, thank you, Lord!

We have food! Not only that, but we get to play at making it and enjoy the results. Imagine eating only dog food and your only hope of something different is the crumbs the kids drop from their plates?

The luncheon went well last Saturday. I really enjoyed it, more than I thought I would. The company was great, though. The ladies at church are so gracious and everyone’s so laid back and they’re such a blessing.

God gives me hints on how to serve others. I don’t always listen, but I’m glad He’s kept me from being so calous that I don’t hear anymore.

Thank You, Lord for the person who invented refrigeration. We can keep ice cream in a fridge! Not that I have any, but that’s beside the point.

School has been going so well. Not me, but the Lord’s doing of course. It’s nice to hear “School is fun!” from my kids!

Lest I forget, thank You for coffee.

Thank you, Lord for keeping me healthy. Help me remember to drink a lot today!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, Lord for my husband. He’s smart and has known what to do to keep us financially stable. Not wealthy, that we forget You nor poor we consider lies or stealing to make it.
