Last Thursday, we took our kids—those available—and headed to a park so I could get practice taking photos of other people’s kids.

Was I nervous? Yes.

Was I uncomfortable? You betcha.

Should I have been? Not at all.

Wheee!

It was fun taking photos of them the way I do of my kids. But the romance of the camera isn’t that strong with mine anymore considering they see it all the time.

These kids were so sweet! They loved getting their pictures taken and all of the kids were having fun playing together so we took our time.

If I were a little more technically competent I would have had more photos. If, if, if…but it’s ok…slowly working towards that direction, I suppose but enjoying the path there in the mean time.

Mind you, it was just after 10 a.m. when we got there and that place takes a while to get you your food. It’s always worth it, but in the mean time, the boys had to wait on empty stomachs.

J manages to muster up a smile even though he did run laps in the waiting area a few times.

NM was in a more melancholy mood but that was probably due to very low blood sugar, don’t you think?

Hubby was quick to smile for me. I likey. This camera/Photoshop thingie is fun. Now I just need to get this blog set up to show bigger photos.

My sister was fortunate enough to be one of the two photographers for the Katinas concert recently held in Manila.

They look so great! She’s getting to be a great pro. Getting good shots in high-contrast lighting conditions is hard. She is so good at getting the composition just so. I keep thinking I’m jealous of her camera but it’s more of being jealous of her abilities!
